ESPERANZA

Una estrella en la noche
me ha venido a iluminar.
Como el lucero ha salido
cuando el sol se fue a volar.
Tres sabios una vez
siguieron una luz tal
de brillo tan singular
que les llevó a buen destino.
Yo aunque uno y dolorido
los imito en su camino
en mi barca y por zozobrar
no me canso de remar.

HOPE 

A star in the night
has come to enlighten me.
Like the morning star has come out
when the sun went flying.
Three wise men once
follow a light such
so singular brightness
that led to positive results.
though I am one and I'm sore
I imitate on their way
in my boat and almost capsized
I never tire of paddling.
