LA VIDA

He caído sobre las arenas ardientes

del vasto e increíble desierto de la vida.

Un sol caliente y espeso trata de abatirme

y casi lo logra, ese sol es la muerte.

Pero a lo lejos, entre nubes de agonía

se ve una fuente de agua pura, la esperanza

y la misma sed que me mata me anima

es la esperanza que me impulsa y me dice:

¡vamos! camina, es tu tiempo, todavía.

The LIFE 

I fell on the burning sands 

the vast and amazing wilderness of life. 

A hot sun and thick, tries to bring  me down

and almost does, that sun is death.

But in the distance, among clouds of agony 

is a source of pure water, the hope 

and the same thirst that kills me encouraged me 

is the hope that pushes me and said: 

Go! walk, it is your time, yet.
