La noche

La noche

Qué habrá del otro lado
de ese cielo agujereado
que tan renegrido está.
Cientos, miles de agujeros
dejan la luz pasar
del otro lado del cielo.
Y no siempre pero a veces
uno más grande aparece
que se mueve, crece y crece
y después se vuelve a achicar.
Será una capota rota
cobija del astro rey
que cuando se cansa se tapa
no dejándonoslo ver.
O la luz que atraviesa
esa maraña espesa
será el reflejo de Dios
que se cubre para no ver
lo que ha de cometer
el hombre que él creó.
Pero el diablo ánima cruel
agujerea el cobertor
para que él vea en qué
el hombre se convirtió.
O tal vez sean agujeros
que dejaron en el cielo
las almas que no pudieron
en la noche soportar
la angustiosa soledad
que entre los hombres sintieron.
Y con la fuerza restante
saltaron con tanto esmero
que ese techo rompieron
y con Dios fueron a dar.

The Night
What will the other side
of that sky, pierced
that so blackened is.
Hundreds, thousands of holes
allow light to pass
the other end of sky.
Not always but sometimes
larger one appears
that moves, grows and grows
and then shrink again.
It will be a broken cloak
blanket of the Sun
that when gets tired, covered himself
not allowing us to see him.
Or the light that passes through
the tangle thickens
is the reflection of God?
which covers order not to see
what has to commit
the man he created.
But the devil, ruthless soul
perforates the cover
for him to see how
became man.
Or maybe they are holes
they left in the sky
souls who could not
at night endure
the lonely grief
than among men they felt.
And with the remaining force
jumped so hard
broke that ceiling
and with God were to stay.
